This precious little butterfly has the absolute best teacher in the world!!! So proud of her - and YOU - as you work together for her development. Love her and pray you both will be blessed by this experience. God has gifted you to make her life an adventure. Prayers for you every day! Hugs to my granddaughter!!
Heidi,
I haven't followed your blog for a very long time! I moved to Ontario a few years ago, and life just got busier. But I was delighted to read how you're doing with your little Butterfly! You are an amazing mom!! I have prayed for you and your family off an on since I last read your blogs. I've wondered how you're doing. Your entries always inspire me, and remind me why I am a Nurse… Maggie's story always touches a cord deep in my heart, and I remember that patients have to trust us, they don't know us from Adam, and they have to trust us with their lives. I pray that I will always remember the sacrifice that's involved when families trust us with their loved ones. And I pray that God will continue to use me in others' lives, to impact & influence their life's journeys. Even if one patient's life is impacted by God in me this week, then I am grateful. I've gotten involved in a children's breakfast program here in Niagara Falls. It provides breakfast to kids whose parents don't necessarily feed them, or don't feed them anything nutritious. My heart is for the kids.
Anyway, I have missed reading about your family, your faith, your passion for life. I pray you are all well. I pray your faith & passion for being Godly parents will impact those God places along your journey!

Yay, one semester is under your belt! I'm sure you've learned a lot in these few months of how the homeschooling adventure goes. And I'm sure there have been tiring moments and a real learning curve, but I imagine there have been many more blessings along the way. I'm thankful that Maggie has you - and thankful that you have Maggie! =)
Our chrysalises is the most beautiful butterfly you will ever meet! WE are so PROUD of how she has evolved with the enormous guidance from her special teacher this year,, can not wait to see what they do next year!!!! Grateful for answered prayers, please continue to pray for our little butterfly!
