Glasses?

Maggie had an eye appointment this summer...

With a pediatric eye doctor with thought we'd get a good exam
to decide whethere she needs glasses...

It was a FOUR hour appointment... ugh!
We did our best to keep her going during the wait time, but unfortunately I don't think she was at her best by the time they needed her to "perform."

As you can see by this picture she was DONE
by the time the end of the appointment came.

But still, they said she has 20/40 eyesight with a slight astigmatism...
therefore it was recommended that she get glasses.

Stay tuned on whether or not they actually work for her,
as she starts school in 2 days!

She's just as cute as a button!
And I love her!

Thanks for sharing your story about Maggie. My son is a year behind her with hypotonia yet no other diagnosis (after many doctor's appointments). You are right- it doesn't matter what label is put on our children (although I completely understand when you say it's so hard to explain it to others)- they will still be our amazing little ones!
