Adding one more to the list of possible therapies… just waiting to see if the school we are homeschooling through will approve the sessions!
This is a big one!Eye Therapy:
“Maggie’s tracking skills are very deficient for her age and grade level.”
”Her saccadic skills are weak for both her age and grade level.”
”Her eye movements are inconsistent, jerky, and inaccurate for her age/grade level.”
“Our overall goal is to not only improve Maggie’s skill set to cope with the visual demands of her academic environment, but to teach her how to properly use her eyes to improve vision with daily activities.”
We are praying that this therapy will be approved… I have always known, as have the Occupational Therapists, that Maggie’s eye-sight and eye-movement have always been a concern. Although she has glasses the prescription has changed greatly and glasses alone will not help her sight.
She needs therapy to teach her HOW to use her eyes!
